This Wednesday there are important legislative committee meetings where the committee members will vote on pending medical marijuana (MMJ) legislation.
We need you to be there to show support for the industry and oppose the bills that could have a significant negative impact on the MMJ industry and Arkansas patients, including the smoking ban and the ban on edibles.

Meeting 1
This is a Senate committee meeting. Bills SB238 (delay until federally legal) and SB254 (dispensaries can’t grow) among others are being discussed. Please come 15 minutes early and have someone from your group who is willing to speak for or against the specific bills.

Meeting 2
This is a House committee meeting. Representative Douglas House is sponsoring most of the bills that are helpful to the industry and patients. Representative Robin Lundstrum is sponsoring several of the bills that are bad for the industry and patients – HB1392 (edible ban) and HB1400 (smoking ban). Please come 15 minutes early and have someone from your group who is willing to speak for or against the specific bills.
